Over the course of the next few weeks, the fifth graders will be preparing for a film that will be a "reenactment" of the Battle of Baltimore. The film will be shown at the Historic Field Day here in the park on May 17th as part of the unveiling of the marker for the Star Spangled Banner National Historic Trail. Yesterday in art class students utilized Math and Art skills to recreate the American Flag (Can you guess how many stars we had in 1814?) and the British Flag that will be used in the film. The fun is just beginning!
