Check out all of the hard work our students did:
Students finished studying a social studies unit on European Explorers. Students showcased their knowledge by creating a portrait of the explorer their group was assigned. Students were asked to teach the rest of the class about their Explorer, by explaining their Explorer's motives, who sponsored their trips, and what land they found/claimed for their country. Our students learned a lot of information about these Explorers and many of our students realized how brave and adventurous they were. Unfortunately our students also learned that these same Explorers treated specific groups of people very poorly. Ask your child to explain.
